Reading @ Hub Feenix

I’m participating in this year’s Konstrundan open studio event on 5-6 September, so you can stop by to see some of my recent works, plus the works of several other artists. On the Sunday I’m also offering a book talk, where I’ll do a short reading and discuss the process of creating Somewhere Soft to Land, which I completed while an artist-in-residence at Hub Feenix.

Online Writing Course on Belonging

This autumn I’m teaching a 10-week online writing course with Lohja’s Hiiden Opisto adult school. We are exploring what belonging is to each of us, and ways that it can be experienced even while experiencing ‘otherness.’ What does it mean to feel at home, as and where one is? There will be writing practices, short readings, and guided discussions.

This course is a space to support your understanding of the themes, so the objective is not to evaluate your writing. As such, no writing experience is necessary and while facilitation and discussions are in English, students are welcome to write in any language they wish to.
