I am an artist living in Finland. My creative background is in literary, visual, and performing arts, and my background as a teacher is in ESL (English as a Second Language) and writing coaching. I studied modern languages and linguistics in my undergraduate years and creative writing in graduate school. I also worked in various marketing roles and as a freelance food, fashion, and lifestyle writer. My novel, Somewhere Soft to Land, is released 21 April 2026, and I have otherwise written short stories and essays.
I have, in the last several years, immersed myself in self-guided and collaborative study in nervous system healing, somatics, art practice, energy work, and intersections between creativity and wellbeing. I am a member of the MUU artist association in Finland and have lately been enjoying acrylics on black canvas, writings that weave the mundane with the mystical, intuitive movement, and printmaking fused with text.
